Business Statement:
To offer customers an affordable and Jesus centered shopping experience. Katie Bug’s Boutique vows to keep our material sold on designs wholesome, kind, and Christian based. We strive to share the love of Jesus through our communication and products.
How It Works:
Katie Bug’s Boutique offers shopping via our Facebook group and our website - www.ktbugsboutique.com!

Shopping through our Facebook is the most popular way to shop. Katie Bug’s posts on Facebook through the day and customers comment on the post their orders. Orders should include all details; color, size, qty, etc. Customers should receive an invoice link as a reply to your comment within 24-72 hours if there is no email listed in the comment - if you have an email on file with us we may also send it there as an additional way for customers to view the invoice. Customers can also click the link found on the post or within the comments to order straight through the website.
Payment Methods:
We accept all major payment methods! After receiving an invoice, customers choose their own payment method including all major credit and debit cards or PayPal. There is also a custom option to pay via Venmo; there are steps listed there as follows: open your personal Venmo app, send the total listed on your invoice to us @Katie-Humphres. The last four digits of our phone number for verification are 5525. We can also accept CashApp - $khcagle - please pay the same way you would on Venmo!
Turn Around Time:
Tees:
One special feature of Katie Bug’s Boutique is we are a woman owned business that makes all of our tees CUSTOM TO ORDER! All of your shirts are customized, loved, and inspected before they go our by ME! This means we do not hold stock of the designs posted on our Facebook or website as it is impossible to know what sizes will be ordered considering we offer infant - plus sizes on most all of our items. We aim to keep our TAT at 2 weeks or less; however, with any small business there are fluctuations in demand and the turn around can vary up to 4 weeks for tees. Katie Bug’s Boutique does not offer any refunds if the turn around is longer than expected; we can offer a 20% off coupon at request.
Preorder Childrens Clothing:
We are so lucky to be able to offer extremely affordable children’s clothing starting at only $16! When we do this they are offered as pre-order items. Customers will find the expected estimated time of arrival within the post. It is the customers responsibility to read all of the details on these items. Katie Bug’s Boutique does not offer any refunds if the turn around is longer than expected as it will be according to the supplier we order from.
Shipping:
Katie Bug’s Boutique offers shipping all throughout the USA! We have shipped from Maryland to California. Katie Bug’s offers $6 flat rate shipping for AS MUCH AS YOU WANT TO ORDER! Customers must insert their correct mailing address when paying their invoice. Katie Bug’s is NOT responsible for the incorrect address being entered; if this happens and the product is mailed the incorrect address given Katie Bug’s will NOT offer any refund or discount as we are not held liable.
After products are shipped Katie Bug’s Boutique is no longer responsible for you product in the case that USPS damages or loses your package. If your product is lost or damaged in transit you may file a dispute with USPS to receive a refund.
Refunds / Replacements / Exchanges:
Katie Bug’s Boutique DOES NOT offer refunds on anything except children’s clothing items that was not sent by the supplier due to out of stock.
If we feel a refund is necessary we will offer it at our discretion but it is not to be expected for any given reason by any customer.
Replacements will only be offered in the case that Katie Bug’s Boutique mistakes the size, color, design, style of your order. For example, you order a large black and we send a gray medium. Please understand that mistakes happen as we are human just like you. In this case we will ALWAYS tell you to keep, donate, or gift the item you received and will get the correct item out to you as quickly as possible.
Reparations will only be offered within 72 hours of the shirt being picked up or delivered to you. After this amount of time passes we are no longer responsible for your item. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure they are pleased with the quality of their product in the given time frame.
Replacements are NOT allowed for items that have been worn or washed at any time.
Care for your product:
We offer tees designed with processes of Direct to Film and sublimation.
Direct to Film: A design that is pressed on to the shirt. Can be put on any material or color shirt. Requires cold wash inside out and recommended to hang dry, and at the least a low heat tumble. High heat on the dryer can result in cracking of the design which Katie Bug’s Boutique is NOT responsible for.
Sublimation: A design that is pressed into the shirt by fusing the ink in the polyester fibers. Can be put only onto material that is at least 50% polyester/50% cotton and a light color; sand, ash, white. This design can be washed and dried on any setting. This design will not be as bright as DTF as the ink fuses deep into the shirt fibers.

Both forms of communication will be replied to within 72 hours during weekdays only. Any messaged sent during the weekend could be responded to as late as the following Wednesday.
We will no longer be replying to messages via our personal Facebook account, in the case that customers do send a message to our personal Facebook page they will be sent the above information as we will not discuss orders on our personal page. Customers continue to send messages to our personal page after hours as late as 9pm-11pm and during the weekend - like Sundays when we are at church - this will no longer be accepted and we are not expected or held responsible to respond to these messages.
However, if Katie Bug’s needs to contact you we may reach out via messenger to clarify any details during your order during business hours.
Non-Payers:
We have tried multiple ways to decrease the amount of non-payers but none seems to be effective. We hold the right to remove any members or block any members from our group and/or our personal page at any time for no reason but especially for customers that repeatedly place orders and do not pay. Your comment IS your COMMITMENT TO PAY! When customers do not pay for items they are directly affecting the income that we make in our household. This is not a side hustle or hobby, this is our full-time job. It is extremely disrespectful to any small business to abuse them in this way. If a customer changes their mind, their budget changes, or the would like to arrange an alternative payment plan LET US KNOW! We are experiencing this terrible economy along with you and want to help you out, please keep clear communication. We understand also if you realize your order does not fit in your budget - this is not an embarrassing event, just please notify us so we can cancel your order. Katie Bug’s loses THOUSANDS of dollars worth of income per year due to non-payers.
